From the manufacturer: Merida, alongside its rival Giant, founds the A-Team, a Taiwan bicycle industry alliance that focuses on enhancing the production efficiency and product quality for bikes produced in Taiwan. In addition, other key component manufacturers join the team and what it stands for, delivering consistent quality and further helping to shape the global bicycle industry we know today. While the team was disbanded in late 2016, the spirit of cooperation between the members remains.
